Condor Red Jasper Peyote Pendant

Condor Red Jasper Peyote Pendant

This hand made sterling silver pendant is inspired by theĀ culture of the Aztec people. ItĀ honors theĀ medicine of the condor, and is embedded withĀ a carved red jasper peyote and peridot stone.

The condor represents a connection between the earth and skies. They were thought to carry the dead to the afterlife on their wings and see into both worlds of the living and the dead. It is a revered creature, a master of spirit, who gave power to humans for world renewal and cosmic purposes.Ā

Condors have an agreement with Creator to clean the earth, similar to a vulture, and when their time comes to cross over they fall from the skies free of any disease. So it is a goodĀ medicine for cleaning things with disease and impurity.

It also represents the prophecy of the eagle and the condor which is the union of tribes from the north and the south gathering as one.

This pendant is intricately craftedĀ by an artisan based in Mexico in collaboration with Anahuac Arts.
